Faculty Mentors are Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Several experienced faculty members serve as \u201cmentors\u201d to other instructors and staff members, and are scheduled to be available a few hours each week for one-on-one assistance on specific issues with which employees may want some help. From pedagogical\/teaching and learning topics to working with specific networks or software, the collective skills of the faculty mentors are at your disposal on an as-needed basis.<\/p>\n<p>The mentor schedule for the remainder of the Spring semester is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toni Howard \u2014 Monday from 8 to 9 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Milt Connors \u2014 Monday from noon to 1 p.m.; Friday from 2 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Tony Podlaski \u2014 Thursday from noon to 1 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Kyra Garrigue \u2014 Friday from 11 a.m. to noon<\/li>\n<li>Michael Such \u2014 Friday from noon to 1 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Flex-mentors also are available for specific assistance on request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scheduled mentors can be found in the\u00a0<a title=\"Faculty Resource Room\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/cet\/rooms\/1052.html\" target=\"_blank\">Faculty Resource Room<\/a>\u00a0and interested colleagues are encouraged to take advantage of this helpful college initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule of available faculty and staff workshops including mentor availability can be found on the\u00a0<a title=\"CET Calendar\" href=\"https:\/\/zmail.hvcc.edu\/home\/c.prylo@hvcc.edu\/CET%20Professional%20Development.html\" target=\"_blank\">CET Calendar<\/a>.\u00a0 If you or your office has specific training needs, this<a title=\"brief request form\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/cet\/contact.htm\" target=\"_blank\"> brief request form<\/a> will put the process in motion.<\/p>\n<p>Let us know how we can be of assistance and feel free to benefit from our expertise.
