In Haiti, there is a serious focus on education and back-to-school time is very important. However, there are many students who cannot afford to purchase supplies.<\/p>\n

Therefore, my family decided to launch a backpack drive to help with the efforts by sponsored by several partnering orphanages to secure these supplies.<\/p>\n

Please join us; your help is needed to buy:
\n— 100 backpacks (17 inches)
\n— 100 pencil sharpeners (dual blades)
\n— 300 regular erasers
\n— 50 basic scientific calculators
\n— 200 toothbrushes
\n— 100 hair combs
\n— 100 basic multipurpose utility boxes
\n— 100 school glue (white squeeze bottle)
\n— 50 basic semicircular 6\u201d protractors
\n— 100 wire notebooks (150 sheet, 5 subjects, wide ruled)
\n— 500 black ink pens
\n— 500 blue ink pens
\n— 100 school scissors
\n—\u00a0 50 packs of barrettes
\n— 5 rolls of ribbon (to make hair accessories)<\/p>\n

The amount of everything including shipping to Haiti is $2,500 total or $25 per backpack! The prices include all of the supplies, backpacks and the shipping costs.<\/p>\n
