{"id":5592,"date":"2014-08-07T11:50:53","date_gmt":"2014-08-07T15:50:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-blackboard-end-of-semester-and-upgrade-information\/"},"modified":"2014-08-07T11:50:53","modified_gmt":"2014-08-07T15:50:53","slug":"important-blackboard-end-of-semester-and-upgrade-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/important-blackboard-end-of-semester-and-upgrade-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Blackboard end of semester and upgrade information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Blackboard faculty,<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We are planning on beginning the Blackboard upgrade at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12.<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Students will lose access to Blackboard Summer session courses on Saturday, Aug. 9 between 7 and 8 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Students and staff will not have access to Blackboard during the upgrade which begins on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 7 a.m.. The process may take a few days; we will send an e-mail when it is complete.<\/li>\n<li>This new version of <i>Blackboard <\/i>presents a number of changes and new features that faculty and staff will want to be aware of.
