Selingo, editor at large for The Chronicle of Higher Education and one of the nation\u2019s leading observers of higher education, will discuss \u201cThe College of the Future\u201d in a talk at The College of Saint Rose.<\/p>\n<p>Selingo will speak on <strong>Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> in the Carl E. Touhey Forum at the Thelma P. Lally School of Education on the College of Saint Rose campus,\u00a01009 Madison Ave., Albany. Selingo\u2019s address, presented by the College\u2019s Sullivan Institute for Higher Education Leadership, is <strong>free and open to the public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As costs continue to rise, more and more students are looking for alternatives to the conventional undergraduate experience. Hybrid learning, three-year degrees and no-frills colleges are going mainstream. Even for traditional students, the college of tomorrow will be much different than the undergrad days their parents fondly recall.
