Faculty and staff regularly take advantage<\/strong><\/span> of the comprehensive collection of Blackboard <\/em>tutorials that they access through the Distance Learning Faculty\/Staff support page<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you know,<\/strong><\/span> though, that what Blackboard <\/em>calls \u201cpage help\u201d is also readily available to faculty and staff, regardless of what they may be working on in their Blackboard <\/em>course or organization?<\/p>\n

The button<\/strong><\/span> for activating Blackboard <\/em>\u201cpage help\u201d is located to the right of the Edit Mode<\/strong> toggle button on the Announcements page of your course\/organization.\u00a0 However, it only appears when Edit Mode is set to ON<\/strong>, and you also must toggle the \u201cpage help\u201d button to activate the help feature in your course\/organization.\u00a0 See the following screenshot:<\/p>\n

Once \u201cpage help\u201d is activated,<\/strong><\/span> you can quickly receive information, definitions, or instructions pertaining to\u00a0any Blackboard <\/em>feature, tool, etc., that you may be working with.\u00a0 You do so by selecting the More Help<\/em><\/strong><\/span> link that appears in the light grey banner at the top of whatever Blackboard <\/em>window that you are working in.<\/p>\n

The following screenshot<\/strong><\/span> illustrates how you would access \u201cpage help\u201d when working in the Discussion Board area of your course\/organization<\/p>\n

Using Blackboard <\/em>\u201cpage help,\u201d<\/strong><\/span> you thus have at your finger tips a rich resource for readily learning about\u2014or learning more <\/em><\/strong>about\u2014essentially any Blackboard <\/em>tool, feature, or function.<\/p>\n
