{"id":6201,"date":"2015-01-07T17:06:09","date_gmt":"2015-01-07T22:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/join-the-albany-peace-project\/"},"modified":"2015-01-07T17:06:09","modified_gmt":"2015-01-07T22:06:09","slug":"join-the-albany-peace-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/join-the-albany-peace-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Join the Albany Peace Project!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #011993;\"><b><i>Do you often feel stressed and trapped with life\u2019s challenges?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #011993;\">Then learn how to overcome these challenges by participating in the second annual <b><a title=\"Albany Peace Project\" href=\"http:\/\/albanypeaceproject.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Albany Peace Project<\/a>! <\/b>The Albany Peace Project is a 10-year research study designed to determine if an organized group of trained meditators creating a peaceful \u201ccoherent state\u201d in their bodies and then focusing these peaceful intentions outwardly can measurably reduce local violence. Our hypothesis is that focused peaceful intention has a real world impact, and dozens of prior research studies suggest it does as well. We are gathering evidence to determine if the use of this approach can positively impact the city of Albany.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #011993;\">Not only does achieving a coherent state dramatically enhance the lives of individuals, but it has remarkable applications for the workplace. As individuals achieve a\u00a0coherent state, they are much more likely to work better in groups. A good referral for us is any business, or organization that is interested in offering their employees or members a highly cost effective program to lower stress and conflict while dramatically enhancing the quality of their work and family lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #011993;\">The Albany Peace Project (APP) team\u00a0is currently working toward gathering 2,500 participants\u00a0to meditate\/pray\/focus to achieve coherence together for 15 minutes a day for the month of January 2015 while sending peaceful intentions to the City of Albany.
