The American Heart Association asks why support the Go Women cause? Life is why! My why is my mom.\u00a0 She has been treating heart disease for 30 years. At 84 years old, she continues to live a heart-healthy life, through diet, exercise and medication. And I for one am glad she does. My why is my cousin. At 51 years old, she died unexpectedly while cleaning her mom&#8217;s house. She left behind two sons. My why is my children.\u00a0 At 23 and 25,\u00a0 they still need their mom around to celebrate their victories and support them in life&#8217;s defeats.<\/p>\n<p>We all have women in our lives that we love and we need. They need to be aware of heart issues. Your $5 donation will help raise awareness and fund research.
