Oscar Williams, Ph.D., chair of Africana Studies at University at Albany, will present Reflections on Themes from the ‘Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle’ Series<\/em>\u00a0on Tuesday, March 17, at 2 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.\u00a0 Dr. Williams is an expert on 19th and 20th century African American history.\u00a0 Join us as the dialogue continues, examining the long history of civil rights struggles in America considered in the context of current events and through\u00a0the lives of HVCC students.<\/p>\n This presentation is supported through the generous sponsorship of the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation.
