On Thursday February 5,\u00a0 the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) hosted the Joining Community Forces of Upstate New York monthly meeting.<\/p>\n
The Joining Community Forces initiative is supplemental to the organization line of effort, to link with is already in place within the military and the community. They aim to foster a sustainable network of local community support.<\/p>\n
More than 30 representatives from local non-profit and government agencies gathered to share and discuss resources for veterans and their families in the greater Capital Region. After a short presentation from one of the partners, The Legal Project, agencies had the opportunity to share their mission and make announcements to members of other agencies.<\/p>\n
The Joining Community Forces initiative plans on meeting on a regular basis and would like to invite anyone who would like to listen or share resources.<\/p>\n
