Please DO NOT submit multiple times or it will take even longer. Call the Center for Distance and Online Learning if you need assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Also, if you do not use Bb Collaborate Tools, please do not select them as items to export or import or else you will get a \u201cfailure\u201d notice even though your course successfully imports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t Forget to Make Your Course Available<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the semester begins, students will have access only to a course that has been made available by the course instructor.\u00a0 You must manually make your course(s) available in Blackboard in order for students to see them.<\/p>\n<p>To set the course availability, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>From the <strong>Control Panel<\/strong> of your course<br \/>\nSelect <strong>Customization<\/strong><br \/>\nSelect <strong>Properties<\/strong><br \/>\nLocate <strong>Step 3: Set Availability<\/strong> and select <strong>Yes<\/strong>, &#8220;Make Course Available&#8221;<br \/>\nSelect <strong>Submit<\/strong><br \/>\nA green confirmation bar will appear indicating that the properties have been updated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px;\">Please contact the Distance and Online Learning Help Desk for assistance at <a href=\"mailto:DLHelp@hvc.edu\" target=\"_blank\">DLHelp@hvc.edu<\/a> or call 629-7070.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Published:<\/strong>\u00a0Tue, 25 Aug 2015 12:08:10 +0000 by\u00a0s.gallagher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Blackboard Instructors: Are you ready for the Fall 2015 semester?
