The winner then will compete against 10 other colleges on Wednesday, March 4, 2016 in a regional competition at SUNY Plattsburgh; $7,000 in prizes will be awarded throughout this competition.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Topic<\/span>:<br \/>\n<strong><em>Free Enterprise: Problems you would solve as a social entrepreneur\u00a0<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is an ideal topic for all of our socially-responsible students in any major.<\/li>\n<li>Speeches should be 3 &#8211; 4 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>PowerPoint &amp; Prezi are not allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sponsored by the Entrepreneur&#8217;s Club at Hudson Valley Community College, and SUNY Plattsburgh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications are due Wednesday, Oct. 28.<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease see Jodi Mather, assistant professor, (BRN 225) for an application.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Published:<\/strong>\u00a0Thu, 08 Oct 2015 20:20:19 +0000 by\u00a0j.mather<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Please join us for refreshments and terrific speeches!
