This allows students to practice their skills while giving back to the community.<\/p>\n<p>This year in honor of the EOC\u2019s 50th Anniversary, the students are asking anyone who comes into the clinic to donate a canned food item, a boxed food item, or toiletries that will in turn be donated to two local shelters with the goal of collecting more than 50 boxes full of these items.<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 9, the students delivered their first batch of more than 15 copier\u00a0paper boxes stuffed with food and toiletries to Sheridan Hollow Drop-in Center in Albany (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.interfaithpartnership.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.interfaithpartnership.com<\/a>) along with clothing they personally donated.<\/p>\n<p>The students received a tour and were able to ask questions about the drop-in center.
