\n<\/strong>Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19,\u00a0 the Center for Access and Assistive Technology will continue extended hours (see above) during the academic semester. These extended hours give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to utilize our adaptive computer lab, receive training on the assistive technology and testing accommodations, and to provide evening students and faculty access to the Center for Access and Assistive Technology.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The following brochures are available: Center for Access and Assistive Technology, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, and Policies & Guidelines for Alternative Testing Services. Please contact the CAAT at 629-7154 and we will mail them to you. These publications provide helpful information for college faculty and staff to ensure access to college programs and activities for individuals with disabilities.<\/p>\n
\nThere currently are 105 handicapped spaces throughout the campus as follows:
\n\u2022 A-lot, located on the left of Holliday Drive, has eight (8) spaces
\n\u2022 B-lots, located on North Drive, have 14 spaces throughout the entire lot
\n\u2022 C-lot, located near the student pavilion, has two (2) spaces
\n\u2022 E-lot, located on South Drive, has nine (9) spaces to access the Joe Bruno Stadium
\n\u2022 G-lot, located on upper South Drive, has nine (9) additional spaces for access to the Joe Bruno Stadium
\n\u2022 H-lot, located on the south side of Williams Road, as four (4) spaces
\n\u2022 J-lot, located near Williams Road, has four (4) spaces for access to Cogan Hall and the Viking Child Care Center; there also is\u00a0 one (1) additional space near the side entrance to the daycare center.
\n\u2022 N-lot, located behind the Campus Center, has ten (10) spaces
\n\u2022 Visitors Lot on Holliday Drive has four (4) spaces
\n\u2022 Parking Garage has 16 spaces
\n\u2022 North side of the Conway Ice Rink has three (3) spaces
\n\u2022 Fire lane has 15 spaces for access to Lang, Brahan and the New Science Center
\n\u2022 Lapan Hall has two (2) spaces
\n\u2022 Cogan Hall has one (1) space<\/p>\n
\nThe Center for Access and Assistive Technology has seven electric scooters available to loan for use by students, staff and faculty, based on individual needs and documented disabilities.<\/p>\n
\nPlease contact Distance Learning (BTC room 1042 or 629-7070) if you have any questions regarding adjustment of settings within Blackboard to provide accommodations. The CAAT and Distance Learning work collaboratively to support both faculty and students with reasonable accommodations.<\/p>\n
