Pepe, who has been appointed department chairperson for Human Services and Chemical Dependency Counseling. Maryanne has been a faculty member within the department for 25 years. She will now move from interim DC to permanent DC.<\/p>\n<p>Maryanne is committed to maintaining an environment of collaboration and esteem for all students. She works diligently to maintain the integrity of the department. Maryanne is a Chancellor&#8217;s Award recipient for Excellence in Teaching. She has been nominated to Who&#8217;s Who Among America&#8217;s Teachers five times and has secured the President&#8217;s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
