If you enjoy helping others and have a few hours a week to devote to a part-time, on-campus job then Peer Tutoring may be just the thing for you.<\/p>\n
Peer Tutors must be<\/strong>: To apply to be a Peer Tutor<\/strong>:<\/p>\n 1) Pick up an application in the Learning Assistance Center on the lower level of the Marvin Library Learning Commons or send an e-mail to d.frament@hvcc.edu<\/a>. \n— a currently registered student at Hudson Valley Community College
\n— on the President\u2019s or Dean\u2019s List
\n— a quality student with a recommendation from a faculty member for the course in which you wish to tutor.<\/p>\n
\n2) Ask a faculty member for a recommendation and have them send it to Don Frament via e-mail (d.frament@hvcc.edu<\/a>) or interoffice mail (Don Frament, MRV001).
\n3) Return your completed application to Don Frament in the LAC.<\/p>\n
