Link directly to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/faculty.html\">Services for Faculty and Staff<\/a> page or select individual options below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Let us assist you with a terrific semester!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/liaisons.html\">Library Liaison Program<\/a><br \/>\nA liaison librarian is assigned to work with each academic department. The role of the liaison is to collaborate with faculty in the selection, evaluation, and utilization of library resources.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/faculty-instructional.html\">Instructional Services <\/a><br \/>\nThe Library Instruction Program orients and instructs classes on the resources, facilities, and services of the library. Classes are tailored to meet the instructor&#8217;s objectives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/circulation-policy.html\">Circulation Services<\/a><br \/>\nCurrent employees, emeriti, retirees, and College in the High School faculty. Must present a valid HVCC ID (or a government-issued photo ID with proof of employee status).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/faculty-fastfacts.pdf\">Fast Facts for Faculty and Staff<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/purchase.html\">Request for Library Purchase<\/a><br \/>\nRecommendations for new purchases are considered with respect to how the material supports current or planned curricular needs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/reserve-library-items.pdf\">Request to Place Library Items on Reserve<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/access.html\">Access to Other Libraries<\/a><br \/>\nHudson Valley Community College employees and students benefit directly from several memberships and associations which provide direct access to many other libraries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/plagiarism-detection.pdf\">Marvin Library\u2019s Role in Prevention and Detection of Plagiarism<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/copyright\/index.html\">Copyright<\/a><br \/>\nHudson Valley Community College has designated a Copyright Officer to receive faculty inquiries, statutory notices from copyright owners about infringements and to send statutory notices to affected subscribers<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/award.html\">Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research <\/a><br \/>\nNominate a student for recognition for outstanding scholarship.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/hvcc-published.html\">College Authors and Artists Collection<\/a><br \/>\nShare your authored or creative works for this permanent archival collection.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hvcc.edu\/lrc\/mpr-reservation.html\">Multipurpose Room (MPR) Reservation<\/a><br \/>\nWhen the MPR is not currently or expected to be reserved for instruction, employees may request access for one-time events.
