How do you determine the\u00a0quality of a website? Give the website the CRAP test! Attend this workshop to discover what that acronym stands for and to learn the criteria for evaluating a website. Bring a website to discuss.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Oct. 20<br \/>\nAssertive Communication Strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This workshop is designed to help people become more assertive. Clear communication skills as well as practical applications are emphasized to empower participants with the ability to create \u201cwin\/win\u201d situations in their lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Oct. 27<br \/>\nSolving the Research Paper Mystery<br \/>\nthrough Collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For students, faculty and librarians, the research paper can be a supernatural experience. Sushmita Chatterji from the English Department, and Robert Matthews from the library, will present their collaborative process for navigating a research paper assignment.
