Should you ever encounter non-matriculated students \u2013 i.e. students who:<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0 have not yet been accepted for admission to the college or<\/p>\n
2. have lost matriculated status by not enrolling in coursework for one semester or<\/p>\n
3. have been suspended or dismissed because of failure to maintain good academic standing…<\/p>\n
Please send them to the Office of Continuing Education, Summer Sessions and Workforce Development for assistance. We are more than happy to discuss the logistics of matriculation and\/or assist them with the course registration process.<\/p>\n
Our office advises a diverse group of students, including high school students, home-schooled students, returning adult students, dislocated workers, students who are matriculated at other colleges, senior citizens, and undecided students.<\/p>\n
Also, we\u2019d like you to know that our office coordinates the Life Experience Program<\/strong>, which is designed to provide matriculated students with an alternative method of obtaining college credit. Knowledge acquired from a combination of work experience, non-credit courses, seminar training and workshops may translate into college credit.
