{"id":8569,"date":"2016-10-28T12:21:40","date_gmt":"2016-10-28T16:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/dia-de-muertos-presentation-tuesday-nov-1\/"},"modified":"2016-10-28T12:21:40","modified_gmt":"2016-10-28T16:21:40","slug":"dia-de-muertos-presentation-tuesday-nov-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chronicle.hvcc.edu\/wpdev\/dia-de-muertos-presentation-tuesday-nov-1\/","title":{"rendered":"D\u00eda de Muertos presentation Tuesday, Nov. 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Associate Professor Malu Benton, Department of English, Foreign Languages, and English as a Second Language, presents &#8220;D\u00eda de Muertos: A Discussion of a Mexican Tradition&#8221; on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. in the Marvin Library Learning Commons multipurpose room.\u00a0 All are invited to attend this 50-minute presentation in coordination with the Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Altare exhibit on display in the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Atrium on the first floor of the library.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Benton will describe D\u00eda de Muertos, a traditional Mexican custom observed on Nov. 2.
