The Writing and Research Center located on the second floor of Marvin Library Learning Commons will undergo some minor physical reorganization to more clearly identify availability of services provided by librarians, writing specialists, and support staff respectively. A single point of entry to the area will be provided and writing and research services will be clustered in defined areas. Transition now is underway and the project will be completed for the start of the 2017-18 academic year. Services to students will be uninterrupted.
Faculty with assignments (scavenger hunts, etc.) that refer to the physical location of reference collection, reference desk, writing specialists, and specific faculty are encouraged to verify the current temporary and permanent locations.
We’re moving furniture and resources within the Writing and Research Center to make the student experience better. Please notify us if you or your students need any assistance during the transition.
