You’re Invited – 34th Special Programs Award Ceremony

The campus community is invited to the 34th Annual Special Programs Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 29th at 2 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.

This ceremony recognizes the academic achievements of students who participated in the 24-credit hour program, Center for Academic Engagement (CAE), the Center for Access and Assistive Technology (CAAT), the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and the Office of Global Initiatives.

More than 200 students will receive a certificate of academic achievement. Select students from each program will be recognized with an award for the highest grade point average, as well as special recognition for various accomplishments during the academic year.

Venessa Colon, a former EOP student, will offer congratulatory remarks as the guest speaker, and Louis B. Coplin, former Vice President for Student Affairs, will receive the Special Program Committee’s Life Time Achievement Award for his longtime commitment toward student success at HVCC.
