Zoom and TechSmith Knowmia (Formerly TS Relay) Integration
For faculty who meet with your classes via Zoom and record the lectures to the cloud specifically (not to your local computer) will now have those recordings automatically appear in TS Relay. In the past, you most likely have had to manually upload a Zoom recording to your TS Relay account. Going forward, any time you record in a Zoom meeting and select the recording to be sent to the cloud, it’ll also appear in your TS Relay under a specific folder labeled Zoom Recordings.
You can access your TS Relay account here: https://hvcc.techsmithrelay.com/
Upon logging in, you’ll see a Zoom Recordings folder which is where your Zoom recordings will be housed. Keep in mind that meetings/lectures that are 30 mins to one hour+ will take a while to process. You’ll be notified via email twice. The first email will confirm that your recording is located in the Zoom cloud. (These do not stay in the cloud forever, so if you would like to keep these recordings, you’ll want to download them and save them to your computer or ensure they are also in TS Relay.) The second email will confirm that your recording has been uploaded to TS Relay. Again, very long meetings or recordings can take up one to two hours to process.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact DLhelp@hvcc.edu.
