As we start another semester here is a refresher to help make your Zoom sessions successful:
Make sure you and your students are using the current version of the Zoom Desktop Client or the Zoom Mobile App (for devices). Download here: https://zoom.us/download
Zoom has several versions (desktop client, mobile app, web client,* and PWA). The comparisons can be viewed at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360027397692-Desktop-client-mobile-app-web-client-and-PWA-comparison.
*Please note that the Zoom web client should only be used as a last resort.
Make sure you and your students always use the SSO option when signing into Zoom.
Always click on the SSO option first, then use your HVCC login credentials to sign in (see examples below).

Zoom has a 24/7/365 test meeting you can use to verify your Zoom connectivity at https://zoom.us/test.
Check your audio and video settings before EACH meeting.
Below are some helpful video links for checking your Zoom Audio and Video settings.
Zoom has great resources to help you with the Zoom Desktop Client and Mobile App and all of its features. The Zoom Learning Center is now available!
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360029527911-The-Zoom-Learning-Center-is-now-available
And you can access the Zoom Support Center at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us.
If you have an issue with Zoom you can’t figure out, please submit an ITS Ticket at the Client Portal Home
(https://hvcc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1967/Portal/Home/) or set up an in-person appointment with an ITS helpdesk professional at https://itbookings.hvcc.edu.
Thanks and have a great semester.
