Today, Hudson Valley Community College hosts “Recipe for Success,” a half-day conference to help high school students with disabilities make a successful transition to college. The event is full and cannot accept new registrants.
Approximately 350 students, parents and education administrators are expected to attend workshops on college admissions, assistive technology and accommodations for the disabled. A panel discussion will feature current and former college students with disabilities, and parent perspectives will be shared in breakout sessions.
