1.0 Roll call by signatures

2.0 Approval of minutes of April 4, 2011

3.0 New Business

3.1 Change in course title, contact hours, credit hours, prerequisites and course description for POLS 200 Internship in Government – Submitted by Robert Whitaker

Additions and changes to the course which includes adding POLS 100 Introduction to Political Science as an eligible pre-requisite, adding a variable credit hour depending upon the number of hours per week a student performs on-site field work and changing the course description and title to more accurately reflect the course.

3.2 Course Outline – New statement pertaining to a grade of -Z- (Absent without Withdrawal).

3.3 Election of Co-chair and Vice Chair

3.4 Discuss the addition of the following questions for new programs:

-Admission term–fall only or fall/spring

-Can the program be completed entirely in the evening?

-Is the program open to freshmen? Transfers?

(answers are necessary to obtain the required codes from the SUNY System)

4.1.1 Review of impact statement update to reflect Library Media Resources Assessment Form

4.1.2 Discussion – Co-Chair documenting responsibilities
