As the cooler weather sets in, that old furnace cranks on. Keep warm without turning up the thermostat by running the ceiling fan in a clockwise direction to push warm air down, changing furnace filters on a monthly basis (the furnace runs more efficiently on a clean filter) and blocking drafts at the bottom of outside doors with a rolled up towel or premade draft roll.
