The event, scheduled for Sunday, Apr. 10, will feature the jazz trio, Hamilton Street.
The 40 Leadership Tech Valley class members, representing various businesses, not for profit agencies, and government entities, have dedicated themselves to raising over $20,000 to buy a minivan for Equinox. The children and youth who benefit the most from Equinox’s programs often have the lowest level of access to safe and reliable transportation. The minivan acquired by LTV will have a major positive impact on the success of these programs.
The inaugural event of the Class-s fundraising efforts is The Jazz -n- Jam, a unique brunch and jazz experience, is the inaugural event of the Leadership Class’s fundraising efforts.
Yono-s has generously donated all proceeds from this event to the LTV project. Brunch diners will enjoy the music of jazz trio Hamilton Street and have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items including gift certificates to fabulous local restaurants, salons and spas, theaters, sporting events and professional service agencies; golf outings; jewelry; sports memorabilia and terrific get-away packages at wonderful hotels and inns.
Yono’s Restaurant is located at 25 Chapel Street in Albany, inside the Hampton Inn & Suites. The brunch buffet is open seating and will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost for adults is $40 and children under 12 are $10. Tickets may be purchased at www.equinoxinc.org.
