The mission of the Student Behaviorial Assessment Team (SBAT) is to provide an early intervention resource for faculty and staff in order to address student behaviorial issues and promote student academic success and safety.
Team members, who meet bi-weekly, exchange concerns about students in an effort to provide and maintain a learning environment that is safe, respectful and helpful to the retention of the student, and in the mutual interest of all students and the entire campus.
SBAT is an advisory group to Dr. Alex Popovics, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Development, and is considered a supplemental resource to the College’s current procedure of reporting violations of campus regulations.
