The Office of the President, the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Development and the Student Senate presents “Coalition Building” on Saturday, Apr. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Exhibition Room, located on the second floor of the Siek Campus Center.
This experiential and participatory workshop is designed to give participants who have attended the “Welcoming Diversity” workshop a more in-depth exploration of how the oppression of gay people affects us all, regardless of our sexual orientation, and how homophobia is rooted in sexism.
Participants will look at the information and misinformation that keeps us from being more powerful allies for each other.
