Did you know? Last year Computer Services ran a pilot to save paper. They converted the four most heavily used printers — two in the library and two in the campus center — to duplex printing.
By printing double sided, Computer Services estimated that in the first six months, approximately one-half million pieces of paper were saved!
Based on the success of this pilot, Computer Services is continuing to purchase duplex printers. And the library has set its printers to default to two-sided copying.
You, too, can help the college reduce paper usage:
The new Canon office printers have a duplex option. Simply select the 2-sided copy feature when printing your work.
You can also send work from your computer to the Canon copier for printing double sided. If your computer is not linked to the Canon copier, submit a Computer Services work order to have this printer added to your computer.
