The President’s Award
Criteria: Significant contributions made to the College and/or community by a student; e.g., volunteer activities, extracurricular activities, leadership, etc. (Recipient will receive an engraved plaque.)
The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award
Criteria: HVCC graduating senior who has demonstrated the qualities of caring and community service. (Recipient receives a $250 cash award provided by the HVCC Foundation.)
The recipients must be either HONORS OR POTENTIAL HONORS GRADUATES, i.e., cumulative degree indices of 3.50 or higher at the end of the fall 2010 semester. These awards are presented by the President at the Student Honors and Awards Ceremony.
Please submit nominations by Thursday, Apr. 14, 2011, to Eileen Maloney, Technical Assistant, at e.maloney@hvcc.edu or deliver them to the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 159.
In submitting students for these awards, please provide the students’ names/numbers and background information indicating the reason(s) for his/her nomination.
