On Sept. 28, Human Services students listened to a presentation by three people from GGZe Eindhoven, a large mental health agency in the Netherlands.
These individuals are part of a program called Experts by Experience, a college-level education and training program for persons who are consumers of mental health services and are seeking jobs in Human Services agencies. The guests were in the United States as part of an exchange program with The College of Saint Rose.
Topics included the history and current status of social services in Holland, cultural differences and similarities with the United States, and a description of the educational system.
