The two matches won by the Lady Vikings were by default. In the closest and most exciting match of the day, Hudson Valley’s Kayla Radliff (Shenendehowa, Clifton Park) lost after a tremendous effort in a third set tie break, 7-6 (12-10).
The Lady Vikings will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 11 hosting Herkimer County Community College.
The women’s tennis team dropped its opening contest to Broome Community College on Sept. 3, 7-2.
