Approximately 25 years ago, singer Lionel Ritchie climbed to the top of the charts with his song “All Night Long.” Now, students at Hudson Valley Community College can climb to the top of the academic charts by writing “all night long” on Thursday, Nov. 18.
For the seventh consecutive semester, the Learning Centers are sponsoring “Write All Night” on the lower level of the Marvin Library. On this particular evening, the Writing Center will be open for an additional two hours – from 10 p.m. to midnight – so students can work in an academic environment with professional help nearby.
Not only does The Writing Center have numerous computers and printers available for student use, but The Writing Center also has various handouts and resources that can help students finish those research papers that may require citations in MLA, APA, or Chicago Manual style.
In addition, during the Write All Night program, the Learning Centers will provide snacks and munchies to all students who attend.
Spread the word!
